Default 97 FLSTF Steering head adjustment????

Beside the manual fall away adjustment!&nbsp\\; Is there any other way to adjust the steering head to stop the clunk when I hit a bump???
&nbsp\\;
Drained and refilled the shock oil,&nbsp\\; greased the zerk fitting till it began to come out
and set the steering bolt to 40 ft lbs.. has anyone used 60-70 ft lbs with a fat boy??????
&nbsp\\;
Thanks
