I was at the track at Englishtown when he crashed. Just found out about his death after reading about it on the NHRA website. Sad news indeed.

I've known Scott since he was about 10-12 yrs old helping his dad at the races.&nbsp\\; He was a good kid then and a great father now. RIP

My son called me with the bad news, What really happend?

I saw his car slide into the wall near the finish line. The body shattered into many pieces and from where I was standing, his car went out of view. We could see smoke rising into the air from the shut down area. Have to watch the finals on ESPN 2 tomorrow for more details.

Thanks for the details.&nbsp\\; That track was too short back twenty years ago.&nbsp\\; I saw Larry Fulerton go off the end in flames and thought he was history.
