I got my bike about 2 months ago, but it took me 3 months before that to talk my wife to let me get one.&nbsp\\; My wife is convinced that she's going to get killed by another driver if she rides with me.&nbsp\\; I've been trying to get her to ride with me ever since I got the bike.&nbsp\\; Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get her to ride with me?

Enroll her in Riders Edge of a MSF class and let her ride herself.&nbsp\\; At a minimum, she'll get the feel of a bike.

My wife has never ridden with me either, but she has her own bike.

Same issue here Teagen.&nbsp\\; Mine is like the rock of gibralter the two times she was on mine.&nbsp\\; Around the neighborhood was ok but once on the road and above 45mph she froze.&nbsp\\; Problem is she looks down at the road and thinks about cages running into us.&nbsp\\; I ask her to look around and enjoy the wind but no luck.&nbsp\\; Maybe we are lucky.&nbsp\\; I know for the past three years I go to Daytona twice each year&nbsp\\;alone.&nbsp\\;

Dude trust me, this is a good think for you. A man and his bike, thats it!

She wouldn't ever ride her own bike, I don't think I'd want her on the road with one either. I really wouldn't want her riding with me all the time, but once in a while would be nice. I just thought it would be nice to blend my two favorite passions, 1) my bike and 2) my wife.

My wife fought me for years, when my neighbor (a doctor) had a massive heart attack, she decided that we could go at any time, so why not enjoy our time.&nbsp\\; In addition to our neighbor, there have been many others that seem to make riding a bike less dangerous. &nbsp\\; I gave up flying for her, and I have given up golf as well.&nbsp\\; Now we are having a wonderful time together. &nbsp\\;

My wife barely rides in the car with me (inline 6 cylinder, 6 speed) therefore I never expected her to ride the bike&nbsp\\;with me, although I would welcome her at any time.&nbsp\\; Why does it take 90 minutes to mail a letter when the post office is just down the road?&nbsp\\; Took the bike and got lost..........
