Need help making my stock neutral switch on my 2001 Ultra work with the Ultima 6 Speed transmission builders kit. It works in reverse of the Ultima tranny. Any help would be&nbsp\\;appreciated, thank you.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but&nbsp\\;can I&nbsp\\;change the transmission top cover to a different year so the stock neutral switch will line up better with the Ultima&nbsp\\;shifter pawl detent?&nbsp\\;And then&nbsp\\;the stock 2001 neutral switch will work? [/align]&nbsp\\;[/align]I thought it was because the 2001 stock neutral switch was a " normally open " switch and the that the Ultima 6 speed needed a " normally closed " switch to work. And that there was a way to re-wire the stock switch to operate like that. [/align]&nbsp\\;[/align]Again, any help will be greatly appreciated.[/align]&nbsp\\;[/align]&nbsp\\;[/align]Ed[/align]&nbsp\\;[/align]
