wont idle

Hello all,
I have a 2001 Road King Classic w/ EFI.&nbsp\\; It has been running fine for the last 5000 miles with SE air cleaner, slip fits and ECM.
Suddenly it wouldn't idle, it keeps dying. It also backfires when decelerating and the fuel pump runs intermittently.
Help!

Check out the pump.....this is the heart beat of the injection system

the 2000 and 2001 models are also known to have idle problems as well. they have&nbsp\\;magnetti morreli&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; injection,and its a real pain to set the idle correctly.i just had to have my idle re-calibrated ,it took the dealer about an hour to get it set right.

This is very true to say the least....they are a pain to get set then it's back out in a week...lol

Thanks!&nbsp\\; I put in injector cleaner and rode awhile, it seemed to help a 'little'.&nbsp\\; I then sprayed carb cleaner into the venturi and it helped a LOT.&nbsp\\; Now it seems to be idling TOO high.

And, the pump seems to be noisey.
