I used to have an office setup in my house because I used to work from home often. \\; I even bought myself a really good chair. \\; When I started working where I am now my desk ended up just a stacking place so I We took it down because it was huge and bought Hubby a smaller desk because he does not use his computer much, gave him my chair)  \\;and placed storage shelves in the rest of the room. \\; I bought a little fold away computer table I put in the dining room for the random support call that does not happen often with a cheap chair

The other day my company announced that we could work from home 2 full days a week to save some gas and time costs. \\; Woo Hoo! \\; So I told Hubby that I would need to setup a new ergonomic desk area so I could work for 8 hours a day.

He gets upset and can't figure out why I can't use the lillte fold away table and cheap chair. I explain that with my back I can't do it. \\; Then he said he wanted me to do it in the Dining room. \\;

I thought about it a while and figured "Cool...we never use the up stairs office. \\; I can just make that a storage room and make the dining room the office. \\; So I walk out and I explain the type of desk I'd like to get and that I want to get rid of this butt ugly wall unit my parents gave me 20 years ago.

Again he gets all mad that I want to get rid of furiture...why can't I work around it? \\; (I don't own a dining room table). \\; Oh and he does not need a desk. \\; I'm taken back that he would be so mad about me trying to consolidate, update, and make something that would make our lives easier.

I confront him about it and next thing I know he's saying he didn't get mad and why am I making things up? \\; Then it was I am having a mood swing and he is not going to talk to me until it's over......

Just for clarification guys....every time a woman gets mad...she is NOT having a mood swing.

To say the least Hubby this compunded to other ent up crap beign pulled out.....Hubby is NOT on the good list right now.

It wasn't the furniture so much \\;that was the issue but the way he addressed what I had said and his reponse to me asking why he had to address that way.

I was trying to be conciensious about both of our needs and I did not come out with "I'm buying this like it or not" \\;. \\; I said hey how about if we do this.... to alleviate this and that. \\;

Thanks...I actaully have 2 of them \\; (I took my own to work)... I got them when the .com blowout hit...paid $200 each for $800 chairs. \\; I gave him my other one and would be happy to buy a second for the house to keep us both comfy.
