Monday I was hit by a pickup truck. I had just left a friends house and was heading home. It was about 5:30pm. I remember seeing the intersection of Appling and Reese rd. I don't remember anything until I started to wake up in the Med. 4 hours later. Form what i hear the guy ran the light.
I saw what I thought was my cousin Dennis. I couldn't be sure, it was just an outline. I thought what is he doing in my bedroom. Then I was gone again. Around 2am I heard my wifes voice and her mother.
They had to tell me what happen. I don't remember anything from the time I was fixing to go through that intersection. We got home about 5:30 in the morning. I took pain meds and laid down in the guest bedroom. I got into my water bed, Carol liked to have never got me out.
I tried to post several times. Carol kept asking what I was doing sleeping at the computer.
Haven't seen the Low Rider yet. Almost afraid to. I'm beat up pretty bad. Doctor told me he was glad I had on the helmet i did. I still fractured my sinus bone. When i saw it i knew why i am still blowing blood out my nose.
Wow, scary.
I hope that it's all about the bruises and nothing that won't heal. The fact that the let you go home so soon seems to indicate that you will be ok. Just don't get spooked.
As for the bike, it's just a replaceable machine.

Ever find out who hit you?

Take care
Yeah, the issue with the bike will take care of itself. \\; Just get well. \\; Thank God you weren't injured more severely, or worse. \\; Thoughts and prayers go out for you and your family.
Glad to hear you're still among the living! \\; Sounds like it could have turned out much worse for you. \\; Don't worry about the bike, that's why we give insurance companies all that money.
