Default V&H Fuel Pack question

Does Anyone know if the Fuel Pack is active when starting your Bike? Mine starts great when it is a cold engine but kind of stutters after the engine has warmed up. Just wondering if it could be a Fuel pack setting.

I don't think the FP does anything at idle or startup, but I don't know for sure. My bike seems to start the same as it did stock, but was always hard to start while hot.&nbsp\\;

I'll tell you what I think I know, you can find a lot more info here if you search.&nbsp\\; The FuelPak is active the moment you turn on the bike, however, it has no effect unless you are operating outside the "closed loop".&nbsp\\; I believe this is more than 50% throttle position or 3400 RPMs.&nbsp\\; My numbers may be a bit off.&nbsp\\; I don't think you have a FuelPAk issue, but it's easy enough to unplug it from the ECM and see if this helps.

Default RE: V&H Fuel Pack question

This very question begs the question why would anyone use a FuelPak?, but then for the exact same reason, I have to ask Why would anyone use Microsoft Windows?.

On both, they are decidedly like a car with the hood welded shut. Might be fine for someone who never likes to tinker, but for those who do it is maddening as hell.

I would advise to use anything else in either category if you want to ever be able to find out just what it is they do and if you ever want to feel like you actually have any semblance of controll over something you have purchased. In the personal computer realm that pretty much leaves either paying money for Mac software/hardware or either paying money or getting at no cost or obligation whatsoever something like http://www.ubuntu.com (which is arguably better anyway).

Leaving the subject of this thread even further, I implore you all to not ever put a Microsoft-laden computer which has anything at all on it that you value as personal information directly onto a public network. Even if you do not value any personal information on it, please do not put it directly onto a public network as I personally dislike having to deal with spam e-mail, and chances are very good your computer is a source of that to me, even if you might not think so.

Thank you...
