Default Lifter noise

&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I have an 03 wide glide that I bought used. It has a screaming eagle kit roller rockers CNC heads(1550) etc. with 2200 mi. I hear some lifter noise(or so I think so). I know tapping lifters is not good, but is this normal for this set up? Thanks Alan

Well lets see how long have you noticed the noise first off??
Has the bike been sitting for a while?
Were the mods recently performed??
Does the noise go away after riding it for a while ?
It is possible the the lifters have bleed down or that you have one bleeding down on you ?

&nbsp\\; Do you know if you have a high lift cam in it? It could be that there are clearance issues with the top covers. It could be a bad lifter or the pushrods not adjusted properly.
&nbsp\\; It could be a number of things! Also, does it make the noise only when the engine is hot or all the time?
