My 1976 1000 ironhead will start to overflow oil out of the oil tank after it runs @ idle for 5-6 minutes. I was having carb issues and think it may just be too much gas in the oil causing the problem as the oil does seem thin. Any other ideas? Appreciate the help

Run the bike about a minute....drain all the oil and replace the oil and filter.
