I have a 2001 Electra Glide Standard, the radio in there now is a HD cassette deck.&nbsp\\; I would like to upgrade to a Harley Davidson CD player.&nbsp\\; I want to stay with the Harley cd player because I think it looks better.&nbsp\\; The question:

I see on eBay there are lots of newer radio/cd players like 06 Harley Harmon kardon radio for sale.&nbsp\\; Does anyone know if there is a harness I can buy that will enable me to use a newer deck like this?

One of the Sellers on eBay said a 06 Harley Stereo/Radio/CD Harmon Kardon would work with a harness he could sell me for another $150.&nbsp\\; I would really like to know from fellow Harley owners if this is true.&nbsp\\; Thanks!!

HD radios are way over priced. You may want to consider the Biketronics setup with a Sony radio. I installed one a Custom Bagger and it rocks!

If you haven't bought that sony adapter yet I'll sell you mine . It was only in my bike for a month . I have the cradle , antenna , Harley to Sony harness adapter and the rain cover . I got mine from E-GLIDE GOODIES and it is a nice setup.
