Default RE: Which Slip on are louder?

Let me re-phrase my question,
Which slip ons would be quieter, Rush with 1.75 baffles or Rinehart slip ons?
Looking for a little more that stock but not crazy loud.

Thanks,
John

Default RE: Which Slip on are louder?

I have the Wild Pigs, which essentially are a cheaper version of the Rush pipes, same size body etc. Baffles are swappable, too. I like the 1.75" I think it's a good balance between loud when you get on it, but still neighborhood friendly. At least none of my neighbors have given me dirty looks&nbsp\\; I'm getting a set of Rush 1.75" baffles this week and going to try them out. I got them off Ebay for $10. There are a lot more holes in the body of the Rush baffle than the Wild Pigs ones, so that might even mellow it out a bit more.

At 70 mph on the highway I had no issues with Wild Pigs w/ 1.75" baffles. I could hear the radio clearly, and it didn't feel very hard on the ears. Granted it was just 30 minutes, but they were a lot easier on the ears than the SE 16GA pipes I had on my Vrod.

The Rineharts that I've seen / heard have always had good tone, but a lot sounded very harsh when really getting on them (to me).
