So on my 08 ultra, driving around town, I hear a clunk some where up in the front end.&nbsp\\; Not every time, about 1 in 5 times&nbsp\\;I go to stop.&nbsp\\; It seems to happin as I pull in the clutch and apply the front brake.&nbsp\\; I have checked every fastener on the forks and brakes.&nbsp\\;
Any Ideas?

I am getting the exact same noise. My bike was at the dealer for a week and the service manager finally took it for a ride and said he heard it and was going to call HD directly to see if there was a problem. About 1 outta 5 for me too. Anyone else having the same issues? I have put 1000 since then.

I get the same thing...&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;a little less frequently though&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;maybe one out&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; ten. I have about 6500 miles.

I had floating rotors on my '06 and they would clunk most times the first time I used them in the morning, but then were silent the rest of the day.

I havn't had the same noise on my '07, but I also have not ridden in almost 6 months either.... damn desert...

Just a thought are the neck bearings loose? That would cause some play and movement which would cause the noise.

Check the anti rattle springs
in front calipers.
Are they properly installed ?

Yep same issue, just installed the floaters two weeks ago thats when it started. Just about to post when I seen this, will get the head bering checked anyway though.

I have it to but thought it might be the front brake pads hitting the pins when applying the brakes lightly only at slow speeds like when I enter the garage&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I will wait to see what others find out
