\\;I am putting new Rocker Covers on My 01 Sporty and having trouble with the rear cover, I cannot get it to go in for anything, I spoke to the service tech at the local dealer and he said that they will have to jack up the engine and **** it to get the cover in place. Have any of you had this problem with these covers and how did you manage to get them in place? I can get this rear cover in backwards but have no room to turn it around the right way. I am at the end of the Road with this, any help and info with this is appreciated. Is there a certain Technique to this?
Not sure if you got your answer yet......You shouldn't need to jack the engine to get that on.....I've had mine off a few times, and never had to jack the enginge......It's a tight fit, but you should be able to slide it in from the side.
