Default QQ Thunder Monster Baffles

Just sold my TM's to Marsh b/c I didn't want to retune my bike to run them.&nbsp\\; When I put them in my pipes, I could tell they were going to require some adjustments to my map.&nbsp\\; I am looking at buying a D&amp\\;D Fat Cat, but the QQ TM's actually sparked my interest.&nbsp\\; I am not worried about my pipes being louder, just a deeper richer tone.&nbsp\\; Since these baffles seem to be normal thundermonsters with a cone-type thing welded on the end, they would probably be more restrictive and may not require a retune.
&nbsp\\;
Anyone have any ideas about this?&nbsp\\; I know, for the extra money on the QQ Baffles I could have almost paid for a retune on the originals but they were a bit loud for my taste anyway.&nbsp\\; The main hesitation about buying the Fat Cat is I don't see my pipes on other bikes too often.&nbsp\\;

I posted a request for about the same info earlier today ....... several hits, no replies as of yet, just fyi.
The QQ baffles look very interesting, and like you I figured any tuning would probably slight, given the design. Hopefully someone is running them and will reply to one of us with some feedback.

I'm running TMs and I did remap. It made a noticeable difference. It won't hurt if you don't remap. That change in mixture isn't that much.

I just had the Big City TM QQ baffles installed with the V&amp\\;H BR 2 into 2. My bike is still in the shop having other mods completed such as the H-D high flow A/C and ThunderMax EFI. When I get it back I will post some feedback.

I had the V&amp\\;H BR installed with the QQ baffles, high flow AC and Super tuner&nbsp\\;before I took delivery of&nbsp\\;my bike so I don't know about tuning. All I can say is that you need to make sure the baffles are installed correctly, at least 6 inches up the pipe because it will affect the tone.&nbsp\\;They are not very quiet but they do have a great low bark. They scare the deer back in the woods and I love that deep low tone.

Personally, JMO and every other waiver I can think of, a two into one ruins the Harley sound.
I know it's subjective, but it's definitely not for me in any way, shape or form.
&nbsp\\;
Want to change your sound for the better?
Two choices from everything I have personally heard.
Rineharts or Bassani.

George C, it's funny you mention Rineharts.&nbsp\\; The cross backs are actually very high on my list of possible new exhausts.&nbsp\\; I like the ones with the black ceramic coated section.&nbsp\\; I am leaning towards those over the Fat Cat.&nbsp\\; Don't know yet.&nbsp\\; How is the performance with yours?
