Default wheel bearing failure

Three days ago I had newly chromed&nbsp\\;HD wheels from Chrome Pros Plating&nbsp\\;installed with new wheel bearings, new chrome spacers, and new tires, all HD parts, on my 06 Streetglide. I noticed&nbsp\\; rolling resistance while backing my bike into a parking spot, but attributed it to increased friction from new tires, invisible up hill grade near the curb, or tired legs. Yesterday, after only 15 miles on these new parts, while traveling at 65 mph, my front bearings failed. Felt like a flat front tire. I got to the side of the road, but not before losing all front braking due to the bearing grease all over the rotor. I happened to be riding with the service manager and two techs from my local dealer. The service manager thinks the failure may have been due to the increased circumference of the chromed spacer impeding the roatation of the inner race of the bearing. Any other possibilities you folks have experienced? I know I should have given more attention to the warning sign of increased rolling resistance, and the&nbsp\\;tech should have spun my wheels prior to taking it off the lift.
