Default Assembling Goodridge braided steel brake lines

I need to make up some brake lines for the front end of my Harley (largely an FXR). I have the hose, the banjos I need, and the tool which splays the hose end. Before I start hacking away I wondered if anyone knows of a tutorial on how to assemble Goodridge brake lines? I am particularly interested in how I can cut the hose.
