Well it looks like they smoke out in Salisbury has been dead and now Farmington as well. Seems that many of the&nbsp\\;"locals" were offended by all the scary bikers. They were more than ready to take our money for food, lodging, drinks and just about everything else. The local enforcers also made a big deal out of the helmet issue. Seems that if you did not have a "DOT" approved bucket you were sure to get written up. I`m sure that another area will be more than willing to take on the task next year. My thanks go out to the woman who has the plot next to the drag strip. She was very happy to see everyone there and had a great little campground set up for us. Too many times we get this sort of treatment without cause. Oh well, their loss and our challenge goes on to educate others about the lifestyle. Not that all bikers are bad but we all still want to have a good time.

Come on out to the Smoke Out West, no helmet laws, and Five-O does not bother anyone.&nbsp\\; The event is great.&nbsp\\; This year will be the 3rd, gets better each time.

I wasn't able to attend the SO 9 due to my work schedule but heard it was "ok" this year.&nbsp\\; Not quite sure why THBC keeps choosing places in NC when they keep getting crappy deals.&nbsp\\; I keep suggesting they try SC but of course I'm just pissin in the wind on that one.
