Default Victory Jackpot vs. SE Springer

I have my 08 SG for serious touring and I just sold my 02 RKC so I would like to get something a little sporty. The SE Springers great looks is very appealing and I have located a dealer who wiill let me have it for just under $26,000 out the door (Orange). On the other hand I have nothing against other brands and the Victory Jackpot, loaded with everything I want is very appealling also. I can buy it for just under $19,000 OTD. I may put 3/4000 miles a year on either if I get one so I wonder what you guys think. While money is not THE determining factor, I don't have anything against saving $7000 either. And I still own a HD. Both these bikes have the "Bling" factor I want. Opinions?

Ive ridden both and have friends who own both and speaking as someone who is in the business,&nbsp\\; Buy the Victory if you want to lose half the value of the motorcycle in the first week of owning it.&nbsp\\; In this economy Victory is not holding its value.&nbsp\\; Also if you look at the way certain things are made like the huge square master cyclinders and other engineering the Victory does not hold a candle to the screaming eagle springer.

I have a 04 FXSTS and love it. When you park it its usually the only one on the lot. It will bounce on you at speed&nbsp\\;but as a bar hopper its great. Buy the Springer.

The days of buying motorcycles as any sort of investment other than an investment in your personal enjoyment and satisfaction are over. Sure, some may hold their values a little better, but your gonna take a hit regardless of which way you go. It's simple economics.

Buy the one that makes mini-me salute. End of story.

I got my hands on an orange SE Springer last fall. I added and 08 FLHX for touring. Buy the springer, you will really enjoy it.
