Screaming Eagle A/C - element question?
Hi guys,
I just got the Screaming Eagle A/C Kit in the mail.
My question is the grey filter element any good? Should I get a K&\\;N or can I use this one?
Heres a pic:

I ask that because I saw some posts about a crappy SE kit with a
blue filter element that was no good.

I read somewhere that the BLUE is deteriorating prematurely.

mine's the same color as yours, grey. \\; I just got mine from the dealer a couple of days ago. \\; I think, maybe, the new edition SE filters are grey.

 \\;That looks like a newer model filter the ones that where falling apart, those \\;had blue \\;rubber seal not blue paper. \\;
 \\;Just keep an eye on it, check it at least once a year for small holes in the paper, that's what used to be the problem with those filters. \\;

Yep the blue ones are the old ones. I had a blue one and it started coming apart so when I got a new one it was grey.

Sounds like I should replace the filter then. Mine is blue rubber.
