Default Arizona or Texas ?

Ok I got to ask, witch is the best and cheapest place to live? Texas or Arizona?&nbsp\\; I have been to both, but has been many years. The wife might be getting a new job, ( boarder patrol ) and she will have her choice if she passes her test. What is the cost of housing and living? I'm sure that depends on witch part, but just a ball park figure.&nbsp\\;

i'm thinking a lot of that will depend on how many 100 degree days you want in your summers....
and are you looking at El Paso or McAllen? Big difference

Try this web site-&gt\\;http://www.bestplaces.net/COL/
&nbsp\\;
Does a great of comparing your current location to any US city you choose to consider.
&nbsp\\;
As a Central Texan, I would reccomend El Paso over anything in the Rio Grande valley.
&nbsp\\;
Good Luck.

I'd definately take SE Arizona.&nbsp\\; Lots of great roads to ride and the summer is not as hot (as Phoenix).
Besides being born and raised in SE Arizona, I'm not prejudiced.

I have been to Hell Paso a few times and each time it reinforces 2 strong impressions on me.
1. I have no desire what so ever to go to Mexico.
2. We need to make ENGLISH the national language!
&nbsp\\;
Plus the entire town absolutely reeks.

Laredo is just as bad.&nbsp\\; They are both armpits.&nbsp\\; Last time I checked English is the official language of the U.S., but soon it will be the minority language

Yuma is hotter than the Phoenix area.
&nbsp\\;
+1 on the South EAST Arizona, if that choice gets offered.&nbsp\\; My sister lives down there and it is beautiful!
