Default pipe upgrade advice 2008 1200 sporty

hi all
&nbsp\\;
I'm a new HD owner and looking for advice on after market pipes for my 2008 1200 Sporster custom.&nbsp\\; I like the stock sound but want more of it - not so much that I get police attention, but enough the&nbsp\\;no signalling,&nbsp\\;lane changing, cell phone yakking soccor moms in their SUVs know I am there.
&nbsp\\;
thanks much!

V&amp\\;H Shortshots are very popular (almost too popular if you're after originality).&nbsp\\; They have great performance and are very loud.&nbsp\\; Also if you're concerned about them being too loud you can purchase inserts for them to quiet the sound slightly to a strong rumble.

Thunderheaders aren't too loud, and their performance kicks a**.

V+H slip ons with quiet baffles. Sounds like a Harley but you won't go deaf.
