Default Changing timing cover question

Ordered a custom timing cover. I'm new to the Harley world so bare with me if this is a stupid question....
With the bike leaning over on it's stand, am I going to lose fluid when I take the current cover off?
&nbsp\\;
Thanks,
&nbsp\\;
Vinny

If your refering to the cover directly below the aircleaner with the smaller round cover on it its called a Cam Cover now. I keep calling it a timing cover and the dealer looks at my like im crazy. There is no oil behind it. Just unbolt and replace.

&nbsp\\;I replaced the silver stock with a chrome one in my 99 Evo and just falled a bit of oil (the one that lubricates the cam). Just refill with this little amount and ride. Maybe you'll have to change the gasket.

There is no oil behind the cover, just go ahead and replace, do not overtighten the screws as they will strip and break.
