Default Fat BOB 2nd Bike

I've kind a been lurking in the Dyna section, as I"m usually in the Touring group.&nbsp\\; Would like your advise on getting a Dyna Fat Bob as a 2nd ride to go with my Road King.&nbsp\\; That way, when one of my three adult sons come home, they'll have something to ride.&nbsp\\; Also, I think it would be a better canyon carver than the King.&nbsp\\; Also considering the Cross Bones.&nbsp\\; Thoughts, things to consider, ideas??&nbsp\\; I'm open and interested to hear what you have to say.&nbsp\\; The King stays, there's no getting rid of her.&nbsp\\; Thanks

Cannot go wrong with a Fatbob... Handles great... Has great lines... That was my second choice behind my Wide Glide. Still want to get a Road King Custom... Love that Bike.
&nbsp\\;
Me test riding one in Germany....

The Fat Bob is an awesome bike. Yes, I'm a little biased but I've ridden plenty of others and what I will offer in regards to advise is this. Any of the Dynas will be more of a comfortable ride especially if you decide to go on longer trips being that the set up is more like a touring bike with the external shocks and rubber mounted engine. I've ridden all of the touring bikes and the Fat Bob handles better than any of them. If you get the chance, go test drive one if you can\\; you might like it more than your RK. Don't get me wrong, I know how people feel about their personal rides and I mean no disrespect because I truly love all the HD bikes. Hell, I personally would love to add a Street Glide to my stable. I've ridden the Cross Bones and why I think the styling is very cool, especially the springer front end, it's just not up to straight several hour riding to me. Test ride that bike to if you can and you'll figure it out.

Another note\\; congrats on being able to offer a ride for your sons to come home to. Whatever you settle on sure won't be any throw down bike. Let us know what you do.

Thanks DB.&nbsp\\; Are those HD saddlebags or aftermarket?&nbsp\\; They look great.&nbsp\\; What's your plans for exhaust?&nbsp\\; Are you happy with the stockers?&nbsp\\; Appreciate the input.

The bags are from Boss Bags and they are quick removable/lockable and are a very high quality.&nbsp\\; Do a search and you'll get lots of info on them or the brothers company which is Leather Pros.....equal in quality just minor mounting differences.
&nbsp\\;
My exhaust is the stock header and I went with Rush slip-on mufflers.&nbsp\\; I liked the stock look but I wanted better breathers and classic deep sound.&nbsp\\; Rush is very popular (among many others) and highly recommended.&nbsp\\; In the future, I will probably go with a Fat Cat because I'm a little tired of scraping the lower pipe in the turns but I'm in no hurry cause I love how it is.
