RE: Why cyclists are so hard to see ** check this out!
I did not see it. \\; I knew what this was going to be and since I didn't know what to look for I still missed it.
I was hit by a woman a few years ago from a stop sign after she looked right at me from 30ft away...and I was the only other vehicle on the road. \\; She was very shaken by the incident when she realized that her inattentiveness could have killed someone, but she said never saw anything on the road. \\; I had straight pipes and a full light bar and it didnt help.
I know that this is a common story, but short of a siren and circus lights I dont know what will ever make cagers open their minds.

Done that before... cool to see a new person try it. \\; Prob with cagers seeing bikers is their brains \\;get trained to spot vehicles with a frontal or 2-dimensional area of around 30 sq. ft. or more. \\; On a bike, we don't even come close to that threshold. \\; I've too had them make direct eye contact and then pull right out or turn in front. \\; Some cagers scan a side street for only 1/10th. second[]!
