Default Four-way Flashing with Security

All,
&nbsp\\;
Been searching since yesterday and haven't found a similar thread, so figured I'd throw it out here until I get a chance to dig in tonight...
&nbsp\\;
When I activate a turn signal (right or left, doesn't matter), I get four-way turn and security light flashing until I cancel. Haven't had a chance to check diags yet, but found several threads pointing to the process and will check for codes tonight.
&nbsp\\;
The most recent change was adding&nbsp\\;a HD accent LED kit last weekend, so suspect it had something to do with that mod. I did have to disconnect the battery to hook it up, and I was carefull&nbsp\\;not to&nbsp\\;pinch any wires. I checked out the basic wiring under the seat last night, as well as the Kuryakyn rear tail light controller and the load equalizer, and all appeared to be fine.
&nbsp\\;
If anyone knows what that symptom represents off-hand, suggestions would be appreciated. I know I'll probably end up having to chase the wiring, but really hope that sequence has specific meaning to help figure what direction to chase?
&nbsp\\;
Thanks in advance!
Roger

May be a coincidence, but remove the accent LED kit and see if problem disappears.

Well, got a chance to pull the codes, and the only ones I had were related to the TSSM (EMC/ICM, SP&nbsp\\;and T were all clear, which is cool). It threw a b1123 (HFSM - Left Turn Output Short to Ground), b1125 (HFSM -&nbsp\\;Left Turn Output Short to Battery)&nbsp\\;and b1126 (HFSM&nbsp\\;- Right Turn Output Short to Battery), so looks like I've got some electrical wiring troubleshooting ahead - crap!
&nbsp\\;
Any suggestions are heartily welcomed... this might be a b!tch to sort out.

Did a cursory inspection of the wiring under the seat, and didn't find anything obvious. Did some more searching on the web (Google is your friend!!!) and found a thread on another site where someone had a similar symptom which was only affecting his left turn signal - the right side was working properly. Turned out that he had the Kuryakyn tail light, with standard turn signals, and had the load equalizer installed. Once removed, the problem ceased. That was the same setup I've got, so I tried removing the load equalizer on mine and they are now working properly.
&nbsp\\;
Strange and baffling thing is that they've been installed like that for months, and have been working flawlessly... not sure why they chose that time to start acting up, or how that could even be (shouldn't they either work with the equalizer or not work with the equalizer???), but figured I'd post the results in case someone else runs across this and searches for the answer.
