Just loosen the screws at the top of the shield on the outside of the faring. Then you may want to loosen the two screws on the backside of the faring half way down below the mirrors. It is easiest if you just remove the screws at the top but be careful when installing new shield! they will strip and it is a beeeiotch to get out and replace. Do not crossthread. Slightly pull the front of the faring away from the shield and pull shield out of faring. Nothin to it.

Just do like everyone else and cut it down to size sawing on it with a piece of fishing line. Works like a champ.

Do you have the solid piece of molding on it?&nbsp\\; Trust me, this is an easy one.&nbsp\\; Windshield replacement should only take abou 5-10 minutes, and that counts fetching the tools from the box.

You're kiddin, right?&nbsp\\; When you find them don't remove the three invisible screws, just back them out a ways and pull out the old wind screen and replace it, tighten the screws and voila your done.&nbsp\\; By the way have you checked the slack in your throttle cables on that '08?&nbsp\\; I hear the adjusters are hard to find too.
