I was in my cage but thought this was weird enough for a laugh.

Driving down a 6 lane divided highway ~45 mph, there's only me and a Explorer behind me at 8 pm and we're in the middle lane.&nbsp\\; From the right a man is jaywalking, limping into to road with a cane.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;I figure he'll cross behind us but just in-case I take my foot off the gas and cover my brake.&nbsp\\; He keeps walking and as he crosses the first lane and steps in front of my car he looks at me and starts waving his cane over his head.&nbsp\\; I stop a foot from hitting him and the Explorer, who must have been paying attention,&nbsp\\;stopped right behind me.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
I&nbsp\\;turned to my son and started joking.&nbsp\\; Maybe that was his cane of invincibility.&nbsp\\; Maybe he thought that if he raised his cane high enough that gave him the right of way.&nbsp\\; Maybe it was his magic wand and a magical spell stopped us from hitting him.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
After having so many people cut in front of me I can almost run someone over and joke about it.&nbsp\\; Still, I feel sorry for the guy.&nbsp\\; Maybe he was mentally challenged, drunk or drugged, or even a homeless Vietman Vet with PTSD.&nbsp\\; We don't get to pick and choose who crosses our paths.
