Smooth LED Fuel gauge
I've read the posts about the flush mount gauges and the led lights going bad like clockwork. \\; Too bad because I really like the look of them.
 \\;
I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with the smooth top LED gauge. \\; Looks like the factory fuel gauge minus the window on top. \\; Are the led's any more reliable than the flush mount? \\; By reliable I mean do they light up and go out in sequence or do they go crazy and not work half the time. \\; I'm well aware that accuracy is almost exclusively attained by using the mileage on the trip meter instead of the gauge reading.
 \\;
Bottom line - I would like to get rid of the window on the fuel gauge side since it's not extremely accurate and I don't see a plain chrome cap to just take the place of the fuel gauge. \\; Makes it look a little more old school like a true split tank.
