Default mileage and mods

Help please,
&nbsp\\;
I have a 2007 Ultra, S&amp\\;S SPOs and Doherty power pacc. I got this set up dyno'd for the Power Commander PCIIusb. Subsequently I changed the mufflers for the quiet option (I developed tinnitus and am looking for every aid). I also took the cover off the air cleaner. I haven't re dynoed.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;S&amp\\;S say there shouldn't be a need just for the&nbsp\\;baffle change.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
My question is, is there any reason my fuel consumtion should tank after these last changes? I put $40 worth of fuel in the tank yesterday and another tankful today, 130 miles later. Its getting so I'm wondering whether I can afford to ride.
&nbsp\\;
Thanks,
Pete

Baffles do not require resetting the PCIII.
&nbsp\\;
40 bucks in gas is about 8 gallons .... How big is your tank.&nbsp\\; I think the 2007 is a 5 moving to 6 gal in 2008?
&nbsp\\;
In any case, lets say 5 gallons and you&nbsp\\;burned&nbsp\\;in 4 over 130 miles, thats about 33 mpg, which is not the worst I have heard but not great.&nbsp\\; And that is conservative math to the bikes favor.
&nbsp\\;
Taking the can off the air cleaner should not make a difference either.&nbsp\\; At what point exactly did you mileage dump?&nbsp\\; What was it before that?
&nbsp\\;
Do you smell gas when you ride, or a very strong smell at idle?&nbsp\\; Sure you don't have a leak????

Smokined,
&nbsp\\;
I am in the UK so have converted £s to $s - I am paying up to £1.25 a litre here and working on (near enough) 2$ to the £. And yes, I reckon about 35 to the gallon. I noticed it over the weekend when I went away on a short trip and the only thing changed was those described. I have a 130 mile ride today so I am going to re-check.
&nbsp\\;
The price of gas is scary though today at $146 a barrel.Tommorrow? You wonder how long we can afford to run these things.
&nbsp\\;
Pete
