Default Forward control install question?

I bought a set of Jaybrake forward controls so I could&nbsp\\;pick up&nbsp\\;a little more legroom on my 2005 FXSTI. Since owning this bike, I've tackled a few modifications on my own and I believe this is something I can handle. Besides...if I totally screw it up I have a few buds at work who have offered to lend a hand.&nbsp\\;My primary concern is the brake line. Specifically, what parts besides the braided brake line will I be needing? Jaybrake offers a brake line kit but the price tag is pretty steep.&nbsp\\;It would be cool to tackle one of these modifications and get from start to finish without having to run to the dealership. Any&nbsp\\;advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks.

Default RE: Forward control install question?

Don't know so much about the Jaybrake kit and what's included in it but on top of the extended brake line you may have to replace/relocate&nbsp\\;the kick (jiffy) stand...and you&nbsp\\;will need an extended shift linkage.
