Default "08 Squealing Rear Brake FIX

My '08 RoadKing has been driving me crazy with rear brake squeal under light braking right before comming to a stop. The squealing is not caused by the pads against the rotor. The squealing is caused by the brake dust getting in between the pistons and the back of the brake pad. It causes a vibration which causes a high frequency squeal. How to fix this. Go to Autozone., Get 1/64" Dark Grey Gasket Material, a can of Permatex High-Tack Gasket Sealant. ( The Dark red thick kind)&nbsp\\; Remove the rear caliper and brake pads. Cut gaskets to cover most of rear of brakepad (just make sure it covers the area that the pistons touch the rear of the brake shoe). Put a really thin caot of the Gasket&nbsp\\;Sealant on the gasket and the back of the brake shoe (metal side).&nbsp\\; Place the gasket on the back of the shoe and press firmly into place making sure it glues to the brake pad evenly. Put the brake pads back on and NO MORE SQUEAL!!!!!!!!!! Not a Chirp.
