Default Gas tank leak and pressure

I've had my duece for a little while now and when ever I fill the tank all the way up and let it sit i get a small stream of gas coming out from underneath the center cover.&nbsp\\; The other thing is that after I ride for a little while or the bike sits in the sun I seem to get quite a bit of pressure built up in the tank.&nbsp\\; So I crack the gas cap open and release it about everytime I get on the bike.&nbsp\\; My question is that I'm wondering if there is supposed to be a pressure release or a vent tube somewhere on those tanks.&nbsp\\;
Thanks

my first thought is if your gas cap is vented they do make custom tank caps that are not, or you overfilled your tank possibly?

We'll I'm pretty sure my cap isn't vented and I'm pretty positive it isnt cuz it was over filled because it has happened everytime I put close to a full tank in it. Are the 01 softails supposed to have a vented cap?

Stock caps are vented.&nbsp\\; Check you vent tube (comes off the front of the tank) to see if it is clogged first.&nbsp\\; Try someone elses gas cap and see if the problem persists.&nbsp\\; If it leaks out from under the dash you could try putting a new rubber gasket in there with new screws. &nbsp\\;
