Default spy shot of new xr1200

some spy pics caught
it was on another board so i won't link to it but here is the his quote

"Anyway, McGoo and I are cruising through town and spotted this thing with duct tape covering the HD graphics on the tank and all. The rider was not real stoked with the pics but when I asked him when we would get one here he mumbled "Soon..." and took off."

I sure hope it doesnt really have a "tail section" like sportbikes but I like the looks of everything else.

that's an oil cooler.&nbsp\\; and that has to be one of the worst looking tail sections i've ever seen.&nbsp\\;

looks like a new generation boat tail.&nbsp\\; I don't think it looks that bad.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
The radiator on the front however looks like ass.&nbsp\\; While I am not opposed to the whole water cooled thing (lets leave that debate to another thread).&nbsp\\; Bottom line is that if the MOCO decides to start going in that direction, they really need to keep aesthetics in mind... which they normally do.&nbsp\\; That thing just looks like it was slapped on as an afterthought.

Make the oil cooler way smaller, and change the rear fender.&nbsp\\; Give it a nightster style fender IMO...

I saw my first Rocker in the dealer the other day, and now this bike. What is the deal with the grey plastic looking crinkle engine stuff? When I saw it on the Rocker, first impression was that it looked so Jap. They should just black it or go back to the "old" finish which I think looked better. JMO

Moco should take some advice from Buell on making liquid cooled look cool.

it's not liquid cooled, it's air cooled with an oil cooler.
&nbsp\\;
the tail looks like it does cause it's inspired by the old xr750 flat tracker.
&nbsp\\;
seriously guys... have you not seen this bike before???&nbsp\\; It's only been written up about a 1000x in every cycle magazine out there.&nbsp\\; It's been out in europe for a year already..
&nbsp\\;
thanks to waterman for catching these pics.. very cool.
