I use a face shield. I have a tinted one and a clear one that I switch out depending on the weather and time of day.

face shield.&nbsp\\; no rocks, bugs, sand, etc, in the face at 50+ mph.&nbsp\\; I gave up trying to find a glass/goggle that would fit my fat head properly and create a good seal.
rode with the half helmut the other week... first thing I said to my wife when I got back "I sure don't miss this thing"

I wear shooting glasses behind a face shield on my 3/4 helmet. Still, stuff gets in my eyes. I am considering a pair of Wiley-X sunglasses with foam surrounding the lenses.

I have this Harley 3/4 with a clear flip-up shield that's coated with Rain-X. http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US I'll use this helmet if it's cold or when I know there's rain coming.

I've been using a 3/4 with a $7 snap-on face shield and snap-on visor for 30ish years. I recently added a tinted strip that sticks across the top of the shield. That and transition glasses eliminates ever changing shield, except yearly when they get scratched. The shields come down far enough to stop bugs but you can still talk and spit, and reach inside to wipe raindrops or fog.

Clear face shield at night and open face with WileyX SG-1's in the daytime.

+1.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I use a HJC CL-33 with a flip-up clear visor and transition prescription lenses. the tinted strip is great - got it at the local rice dealer. my passenger helmet is also a CL-33 but with a dark green visor.
&nbsp\\;
and i keep a bottle of Visine in the windshield bag just in case.

Wiley-x, xl-1 sunglasses, with clear and dark lenses. They come with a strap, but i've never used it.&nbsp\\; I like the older ones better but the new ones are ok too.
&nbsp\\;
I have 3 face shields too but never use them, feel like darth vader.

&nbsp\\;I have to drive with prescription glasses and have both a day time pair and&nbsp\\; a night time pair.&nbsp\\; I have a nolan N-41, with a flip down face shield.&nbsp\\;When I ride without the helmet, I have a pair of goggles that fit over the glasses, but&nbsp\\;brand name&nbsp\\;of&nbsp\\;the goggle&nbsp\\;escapes me now.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; This way, I don't have to replace the prescription glasses as often.
