Default Trim rings on EGC? Do I want them??

I know this is a opinion but I value all of yours being my riding brothers.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Can't ask my wife what she thinks about it because her answer would be, costs money, don't add it!&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; What fun would that be!?...&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Anyway, I am thinking of adding the Headlight, Passinglamp and blinker trim rings to my EGC as seen here: http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US/Media/downloads/Genuine_Motor_Accessories/08_flhtcu_US.pdf&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I have a 07 EGC and cant decide if it's worth the money and if it would look good on this style bike.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; A bike without the batwing I would be all over these rings already.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; If I do this trim ring thing I would also do the smoke lenses too.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; My bike is Black Cherry Pearl with Pewter Peal.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Not sure how the smoke lenes would look on this color??&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;

Oh, last question would be are any of the trim rings adheasive mount or are they all bolt on??

Thanks, for any feedback or ideas you may have!!

So far, I like mine without the rings.&nbsp\\; I don't think ya really notice them, like a lot of chrome goodies,&nbsp\\;unless your familiar with them and sort of look for them.&nbsp\\; Plus, I think the stock rings look a little nostalgic, like the old sealed beams.&nbsp\\;

I did NOT have them on my 03 Classic.

I DID put them on my 05 Classic.

I think they add a lot to the look. I would do it again.

I put them on my 01 Ultra, then took them off, powder coated them black and re-installed them! I think they look great either way, I'm just going for a blacked-out look.

I like them and think they give the bike a better look than the stock lights. I have added them to all my bikes since HD came out with them a few years back. I wouldn't leave home without them !!!

Tell her you need the rings because all of those rings constitute "chrome safety equipment." The rings help project your lights at least another 6 inches.
