Not sure why but for some reason after getting my second Harley, 08 Street Glide, in Nov 07 I decided to join the forum.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Must be something to do with being middle age I guess.&nbsp\\; Grew up with bikes since I was 8 and raced motocross very seriously from age 11 to 21.&nbsp\\; Yes, lots of joints&nbsp\\;that now give me problems as I'm getting older.&nbsp\\; I've always been a motorsports fanatic with interests in high performance cars, snowmobiles, jet skis and just about anything with an engine.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; My father retired from our family business in 1999 and bought his first Harley and that's what got me into street riding.&nbsp\\; We take several trips each year but always do our father &amp\\; son ride each spring and fall.&nbsp\\; In the fall&nbsp\\;we head from Chicago to Ft. Myers FL and take about 7-8 days on back roads to enjoy the ride.&nbsp\\; We stop in the mountains in TN, NC etc. to spend a few days riding some of the best roads&nbsp\\;we have ever found for motorcycles.&nbsp\\; Yes, we have ridden the infamous Tail of The Dragon RT 129 in TN,NC but it's not really something any touring Harley is made for.&nbsp\\; Lots of other great roads in the area that are more ejoyable.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Then in the spring I fly down and meet mt father and&nbsp\\;we do the return trip back here to Chicago.&nbsp\\; God bless my father - 70 years old and&nbsp\\;he traded in his 99 Ultra Classic in TN last Nov for a new 08 SE Ultra Classic.&nbsp\\; If I can keep doing this when I'm his age I'll feel blessed too.&nbsp\\;

Current bikes - 03 VROD, one of the factory custom red on red ghost&nbsp\\;flame colors.&nbsp\\; Lots of chrome goodies, SE exhauts, AC and tuner.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; 2008 Street Glide new&nbsp\\;11/07.&nbsp\\; After 3,800 miles just did the 103 ci stage II big bore kit.&nbsp\\; Bub 7 ture duals (way too loud!), tuner and AC.&nbsp\\;
