Default SE Aircleaner questions..

I have a 1999 Sporty with SEII slip ons, and the previous owner tells me that she had put them on herself, but I do not believe an SE air cleaner was installed as per the 'package'. My question is how can I tell what the air cleaner is, it looks stock but when i bought it , it hasd the SE insert ...is there a sure fire way to spot the model of air cleaner, for want of a better term ?
&nbsp\\;
The reason I ask is that i want to install a sexy aircleaner but am unsure of what models will bolt up plug and play style to the current set up...
&nbsp\\;
Secondly, will I need to adjust anything else (carb or muffler system) to accomodate a new air cleaner, I like the Kury hyperchargers and of course the skull kury a/c, but at this point financially just want to add the new air cleaner with minimal damage to the wallet. Any recommendations ?
&nbsp\\;
thanks for your help guys.

well even if it is the real se a/c youll have to remove it to bolt up a new one for the hypercharger so ti doesnt really matter. the only difference would be if it was rejetted or programmed for highflow filter and exhaust or not. im not sure if you would need a rejet if it was an se going to hypercharger that was jetted. but if its stock your going to ahve to rejet it.

Remove the air cleaner cover.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; If air is only able to enter the filter from a small opening then it's probably stock.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; The SE filter assembly does away with this restrictive plate.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Also the SE filters are re-usable kinda like K&amp\\;\\\\\\;N filters.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; If you change from stock to a freer breather inlet you will have to re-jet. Hope this helps.
