Default Censorship??

Very strange.&nbsp\\; One minute I'm reading a thread about 105 mph top speed on a Street Bob, then it is closed to comments, and then it is gone.&nbsp\\; Made me wonder, so I looked up the accident statistics for motorcycles.&nbsp\\; Based on the 4,778 fatalities in 2006, I quote "The median pre-crash speed was 29.8 mph and the median crash speed was 21.5 mph, and the one-in-a-thousand crash speed is approximately 86 mph".&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;A disproportionate number of accidents occur in intersections.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Also at night.&nbsp\\; By the way, over 700 of those fatalities would have been avoided if the rider was wearing a helmet.&nbsp\\; My point is, why cut off a fun conversation like top speed.&nbsp\\; You wouldn't cut off a thread that stated "I rode through an intersection yesterday, or I rode in the dark, or I rode without a helmet".&nbsp\\; All three are more dangerous than an occasional run up to 100mph on a deserted road.

Hmmm..&nbsp\\; I used to see threads on top speeds in the past, it must be against the RULES now.&nbsp\\; BTW 105 is not the top speed.&nbsp\\;

I dont know what my Fat Bob top end is, I have had it to 125 with me and the old lady sitting straight up, I figure on a good strech of road if I lay on the tank I should be able to get close to a buck fifty

The top speed of an '01 Ultra with a 124' Zipper built TC and Baker 6 spd is ***mph.
Damm, censors got me, too. [:@]&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;[:@]&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;[:@]
OKAY, it is over 29.8 mph, there, howz that PC police? &nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\;\\\\\\ ;
H*ll, I think one of those Rascals at Wal-mart will go that fast, (or s...l...o...w)
The top speed of a panhead chopper is faster than the top speed of my butt or back, so 75 will do.

why cut off a fun conversation like top speed.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
&nbsp\\;
If you really want to know, why don't you ask the administrator who did it and why?&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Bitching about it here isn't necessarily going to get you the answer quicky, at least without stirring up some ****.&nbsp\\; BTW, it's only the government that's not allowed to censor, and that's limited to censorship of the press and speech with regard to criticism of the government.&nbsp\\; Individuals and private (non-government) organizations are free to censor whatever they wish in their own sandboxes.&nbsp\\; It's the way it is, and I can live with it.
