Default Shifter shaft bushings length 77 sporty

got 77 sporty, Changing the shifter shaft bushings and the one in the tranny case I find is just a hair over 1/2". I ordered new ones from jpcycle and they seem to be 3/4". Are my old ones worn down that much or do I have to cut down the new ones?? If I cut them down then they will be flush with case and If I dont they will sticking out of the hole. can any one tell me the length the inside bushing should be???

Sounds like you have the wrong parts. I would send them back and get the correct part number form a dealer.
