By the "book" trade in and retail values (using an equation&nbsp\\;of&nbsp\\; high/low/difference w/load formula) the bike is actually priced pretty decently at $12,800 for an EFI bike. If you take into account the present state of our economy and the fact that $12,800 is the ask, see if the seller will let it go between $11,800&nbsp\\;and $12,000.&nbsp\\; A VGC EFI bike would be well bought at that price.
My $.02

I would go low, like 10 or 11, and see if the dude counters.

Yah he's obviously not a rider with only 104 miles on a 4 year od bike, if I'm reading properly. Offer low. Here in Canada that&nbsp\\; would be a very good price even with our dollar worth more than yours.

Thanks guys went looked at the bike was as advertized. Had a few small chips in paint on lower rear fender.I&nbsp\\;asked owner what his bottom line was he said what the advertized price was 12,800.00&nbsp\\; So I said I'll get back to you. In my head I said go F yourself Firm on the advertized price I don't think so. For another $3,100 I can buy a new 09 with Bigger eng 6sp trans two years warrenty. Plus higher book $ on a new bike I know set up and freight but, I still would of had to pay tax and reg on the 04. I'll ck out a 09 I ai'nt in no rush don't need it. I Still got my 2&nbsp\\;Sportsters.

Take your time, be patient.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Got my 06 with 1800 miles stage 1, lots of chrome for $12.5.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Also, dont be afraid to ship the bike to you and you will get a great bike at a great price. One area that has a lot of FB's for sale is Arizona, Phoenix area. Check out Criagslist. I almost bought an 03 with 3000 miles lots of stuff on it for $10.5 but another guy from out of town bought it just moments before I did.

Heres a good deal in the San Franciso Bay Area, the most expensive place in the world, well almost:

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/mcy/767694327.html

Their was an 02 Fatboy with Stage 1, silver, lots of chrome, 5500 miles, a week ago and the guy lowered the price to $9k. Obviously it sold fast!
