Default Sidemount plates

Ok,
Just bought the HEARTLAND E-Z 200 kit for my bike..
Question to anybody in the UK..
Do you have a sidemount plate for your bike and if so have you had trouble with the hard working police who sit in their cars all day eating pies..
Am i more likely to get pulled up with a vertical [plate) than a horozontal (plate) ?
Any recommendations for a specific make off bracket.
Anyone else had any probs anywhere else in the world any advice....

Glad to see you found a dealer. I guess you never got a seat answer? I know most go with a horizontal plate just so they dont get jacked with. I have been pulled over cause the cop was on the other side of my bike and didnt see it. When he was talking to me I said its on the other side and he said well thats too hard to see. Ok Im a cop and I said so I have to have one it dosnt say where. Any way pics when you get some. Check ebay they have some cool plates cheap.

My dear friend
I am from Cyprus, so I took my 2007 fatboy on a trip around europe with a kuryakyn side mount (lighted Plate) I got a lot of trouble for it. The law states that the plates must be visible and at lest 15' x 10' (in the UK 20 x 30)

Michal..
Thought that might be the case..yet i do see these side plates on bikes in the dealers parking area, so they must get away with it plus there is our M.O.T to be dealt with.hope im lucky here..

WTF..Heartland have never bothered to respond to my question which i found disappointing but by pure luck i found a dealer who will awnser your questions, his web-site is a bit hard to find but GOOGLE&nbsp\\; (heartland softail standard e-z 200 conversion) and it will bring up a site that in my opinion is better than heartlands anyway ...and they are knocking 10% off stuff at moment.
&nbsp\\;
Ps the seat on your bike WONT fit.....so im told.
