i have 16 inch ape hangers that are powdercoated and i recently moved my bars foward and now they won't quit coming back down when i'm riding and its tore the knurls up a little bit. Anbody know how to fix it?

You might try to slip some emory cloth in there and tighten them up over that, see if it holds.

ok i might try that. A buddy told me to cut a bicycle inner tube and stick it on it and tighten it down. He said he has done it before and it worked great but he said somebody makes some kind of crush sleeve or something like that thats make for this very problem with ape hangers. Idk

The emery cloth works, just make sure you get the double sided as it works better. I've also heard of people using window screen.

oh cool. i didn't know they made double sided emery cloth. if i can find some i'll be doing that. thanks
