Great-looking project. Is that a 390 your pudding in. What color are you going with?

Nice project, thanks for sharing. That should be a hoss. What transmission are you going to use and if you could, give a little history of the car.

Undate on project, I cut the front shock towers out and install a mustange II front suspension in it. Was glad I did, need a lot of room for the
BBF engine and Headers. I have a modify c6 trans with reverse shifting and a 4500 stall convertor. Mono leafs springs in rear with cal tracs suspension set up. New Moser 9" rear end with detroit locker and 390 gears, going to also get some 456 gears for it, subframe connectors and 10 point cage. 28" X 10.5 quick time tires with center line wheels. Dual pusher fan aluminum radiator, CSI electric water pump, Ididit steering colum, corbu racing seats, high torque starter, racing performanc 130 amp alternator that will put out 80 amps while engine is idleling. Holley ultra 1050 carb.

Engine: Started with a 1970 429, use only the block, also have a couple of 460 blocks. Took the crank from one and had it mag and install it. Bore block 30 over studs in bottom and top of block. 642' lift on comp flat tapper cam. 13 to 1 compression, blue thunder heads with chevy exhaust ports. Victor aluminum high plane intake manifold. TCI High Performance Flex Plate. ATI Harmonic Balancer, Aero Space four piston disk brake front and back. Flaming River rack and pinion.

I put a lot of money and time in it, but havn't paid much attention to it since I got my RKC 06. Getting it ready for body and paint. I hope to have it running this year. Engine has never been fire up.

Looks like you did an excellant job on the replacement of the suspension. Did you have much trouble getting it all squared up and such?

Thanks, after car was level, did a lot of measuring before I remove the old shock towers, and after. Talk to the vendor I got the mustange II kit from serveral times, and it was a good fit, made for the cougar. I have a lot of little things to do to complete the roll cage, (some welding) then its time to take it all apart and off to my paint and body man.
