Default Amsoil users...

Got a catalog in the mail the other day. This stuff is supposed to be cheaper than Syn3 but according to my catalog it's 8.50/qt... With shipping it'll be MORE than the HD stuff. What gives? Who do you get this stuff from? I'd like to try it but damned if I'll pay that much when M1 and Redline are at Autozone WAY cheaper!

What catalog are you looking at? That is not a correct price. Go to the Amsoil website, you can be a preferred customer ($20.00 a year) and get it much cheaper even with shipping.

That's who I got the catalog through... I'm just LESS than thrilled with the printed prices. I was expecting around $4 something a qt...

I found it at a local shop that sold dirtbikes. Check a ricer or dirtbike shop in your area...

Ouch! I was thinking the same thing. Looks like I'll be finding somewhere else for the next change.

Surprising, he was online quite a bit in the beginning, he quoted very reasonble prices. Have you emailed him? $8 a quart is aweful high...I'm using Mobile 1 in mine, the stuff for the car, I got it on sale for 3.15 a quart last weekend.

AMSOIL just reformulated their muttersickle oil, and raised the price. Gotta keep up with the Mobil 1 V-Twin and HD Syn 3, at least price-wise!
