Default Problem w/billet mirrors

I recently installed after market billet mirrors on my HD. I'm having a problem with the left mirror not staying tight. The vibration and wind keep loosening it. I have tried loctite and even superglue, but nothing seems to keep it in place. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?

Put your stock mirror back on for a spell. If it holds OK, then your billet mirror is bad and needs to be exchanged. If the stock mirror comes loose, then you have another problem.

Are the billet mirrors heavier than the stockers?

You may find that your mounting bolt is just slightly to long. I had to add an additional washer to mine to stop them from moving.

Are we talking about the mirrors themselves or the stems of the mirrors?[sm=smiley25.gif]
