Default Modifed baffle's

Well since not to many member's look at this forum I thought I would tell what I've done to my baffles in my SEII's. I had recently been reading about the BigCity thunder monster's baffle and had the opp. to see one, after calling them up they do not make one for the SEII's as of yet due to the size so I was running witout them any way,and was also running a lolliepop in the pipe's. I took two inch's off each end and welded back, slid back in pipe's and reinstalled the lolliepop, great open pipe sound still but gained back some bottom end torque that I had lost when I wasn't running anything but the lollie pop. Back pressure on a twin cam is critical.

Tn.Heritage,

I didn't get the chance to say this when talking with you on the phone. I was looking over the site, and it didn't seem that they promised big HP gains from the SEII. They talk about big gains from straight pipes and from stock pipes, but not as much from the other after market pipes that are designed for improvement.

I think in your case where you drilled out your baffles, you probably will get more improvement...did he tell you when they will have the mod for your model?

Maybe I'm not reading it right...

Yea I understand your question. What I was talking about was he wanted me to put the thunder monster's in the pipe before the muffler's,which is called the stock header pipe. It was my understanding that they won't be making them for SEII's,at least not yet. You can drill about 6 more hole's in the SEII baffle's without making them sound like crap, but don't go over that, and keeo them the same size. It still won't be as loud as mine but it will help some. I guess I was trying to find the best of both world's,sound&HP,which is hard to find.
