Default Opinions regarding the Hayden M6-BT01 tensioner

Is this thing worth $100? Looks like it might be - what to my friends on the board think?

I've never run one, but I've heard quite a few folks sing their praises. Never heard anyone cuss 'em, either!

Just bought one for my roadking, haven't installed it yet, will do that this weekend. All of my research on it was positive.
Bought mine from JP Cycles, about 90.00$ with tax and shipping, saw it on e-bay for 70.00$ after I ordered mine.

Ted,

I'm going to put one on mine, my friend is running one and he really likes it, he had a inner primary leak at about 14k and while doing that job he inspected the unit, no signs of wear on the shoe not even a small groove and he has a 103 that's built pretty stout, he runs it pretty hard and up to 6350 rpm.

I've heard nothing but good things about them, A couple of the mechanics at my h-d dealer told me they use them also.

I have had a tensioner on my 83 FXWG for several years and really like it. It takes that chain jerk out of the primary chain. The only jerk I get now is from my rear chain and I have considered buying a rear chain tensioner. The nice thing about the Hayden tensioner is that you can adjust it as your chain stretches and still keep the proper tension on the chain. I would definitely buy one again.

OK - ordered one today and will do a picture session as it's installed and provide a link. I'll get a new primary gasket from my dealer.
