What products or methods do you use to get the basic aluminum parts to shine nic, liek the crank cases, etc.? I recently found the following, but wonder what others are using?
A friend recommened to me: Use Eagle One Nevel Dull and put a little Mother's Chrome polish on the Never Dull waddingand rub like crazy. It worked great!
I also tried some Wenol, which worked pretty good as well.
Anything else out there?
My HD shop told me some people use kerosene. I believe the Never Dull has some in it, as it smells similar.
Just polished up my bike the other day with wenol for the first time. Have to admit loved the results on my chrome and aluminum. Sparkles like a twinkle in a virgins eye. Or something like that.
I'm using Mother's Incredible Billet Metal Polish. Does OK, but it's work. I wanted to buy Blue Magic metal polish. That's what I used to use on last bike, but can't find any here locally.
I think the Blue Magic is really good stuff, and the Mother's is pretty good as well. For some reason I liked the Blue Magic more, though I can't say why.
