Default cleaning vrod rims

A friend of mine has a '03 vrod. The wheels on his scoot are begining to "pit" or show some sort of oxidation. Does anyone know of any cleaning product that will brighten up the rims???

Default RE: cleaning vrod rims

I don't know of anything specifically, but I'm on a '06 like you. The stock solid wheels are very similar to stock wheels of other models of Harley-Davidsons, like the Fat Boy, some Softails, and the cast spoke like the Electra Glides etc. as they are all cast aluminum. I would imagine that some of the various products that people use to clean/rejuvinate these other styles of wheels would also work for this application.
